Surya Ravikumar is a music composer and producer. He started to play the piano at the of 8 before discontinuing as his family moved away from his hometown. He taught himself to play the guitar at the age of 14 and the piano, again, at the age of 16. With the new found interest, he enrolled in the Bachelor's of Music Music Composition program at Portland State University. After moving to Los Angeles in 2020, he took up the Bachelor's in Music Production (online) at the Los Angeles Film School in 2021. His compositions are inspired by Hans Zimmer and John Williams. He is proficient in composing film scores, music for songs, EDM, a hybrid of all and beats. He started composing music in the epic film music style at the age of 18 with no prior music theory/composition knowledge, before moving onto melancholy orchestral scores and other styles. He is versed in sound design and often creates his own sonic elements using synths that are used in his compositions. He is also well versed in electronic music composition and beat making.
